What is Anological Thinking ?

- It is to compare something usually either a simile or metaphor that helps to explain something clearer .

Example of Simile : Sleeping like a log
Example of Metaphor : Her hair was silk

Select objects or images from your familiar environment that demonstrated the practise of analogical thinking .

Images that remind you about human face

Everywhere we go , we will see things . Either we just see , or we observe . When we observe something , there are always other things that came in our mind that reminds us of that other things . These are few pictures of things that remind me of a human face .

This is a fabric . The fabric prints look like it has marks of brush . With brush strokes , the print looks like a it has eyes and a mustache .

Week Five

Seth Godin - How to get your ideas spread

During the past , advertising in TV was a great way for a company to spread their product . Now , it just doesn't work that way . Seth Godin is an entrepreneur and blogger who think about the marketing of ideas in digital work . He shares about how to get your ideas spread .

They best way to spread your ideas is to be different . There are many ways to make people notice . One of it is mouth to mouth . Some people are keen in listening and they want to try something new and will tell their friends about it .

TV ads and spam mails are always there interrupting what you are doing and demand for your attention .  My point of view , they are annoying , but it works . Some ads like those in Youtube before videos that we want to watch , forces consumers to watch the advert for 5seconds . Within these 5seconds , they squeeze in alot of infomations of their product before the consumers click the "skip" button . Some even put a jingle in the ad to attract consumers . Attracted consumers will stay until the end of the ad . Like my brother .

Amy Tan - Where creativity hide

" The value of nothing , out of nothing comes something "

We all have intentions when we faced a situation . What we think we should do and what we do . Amy Tan used personal stories in her presentation .

What is a Mindmap ?

A mindmap is to represent ideas and concept . It helps to structure information , better analyse and generate new ideas . Just as in every great ideas , its power lies in its simplicity .

This mindmap was done in class . Each group were given a picture . From the picture we have to analyse and branch out ideas that is related . First thing in our mind was Punk concept . We did research about punk and know more about where and how punk was formed . Other that listing what we know about , we also list questions that is related .

Other than than , we were given an assignement . It is mindmap related too , but the topic is about how education can give us a happy life . We stayed in school for a few hours , giving and supporting every statement . While during this , we learn too .
